At the apple store
I’m at the apple store trying to merge my old MobileMe account and my new iCloud account turns out I get a 20 gig bonus for being an old MobileMe customer! I’ve gotten my old photos off of my iPhone so that’s good news. But now it is taking forever to get my photo stream to update with all my old photos. Good thing I didn’t have anything else to do today.
iOS frustrations
How do you get your old photos on your iPhone to appear in the iCloud photo stream? This one question has been bugging me since I upgraded to iOS 5 on the 12th. It appears that Apple has shut off all the old ways of getting photos off of your iphone ie using import in preview, iphoto, aperture or image capture. I don’t mind using the cloud but my iphone should stil be able to get old photos back into my Mac without all this hassle. I am going to the Apple store tomorrow to try to get to the bottom of this, until then I suppose I will remain frustrated.
